Commercial Address Service — Terms of Use

These Terms govern Trinity Sanctuary's Mailing Address, Business Address, and Registered Agent services (the "Services") at our Groton, Connecticut location. By subscribing to or paying for a plan, you ("Customer") agree to these Terms. They do not apply to our storage services, which are handled separately.

1. What the Services are — and are not

The Services provide a professional Connecticut business address for mail and package receipt, with optional mail forwarding and, on the Premium plan, registered agent representation. The Services do not grant you any right to occupy, enter, or use the physical premises, and do not constitute a lease, tenancy, or physical office. Trinity Sanctuary is not a law firm, accountant, or notary and does not provide legal, tax, or filing advice.

2. USPS Form 1583 is required (federal law)

Because Trinity Sanctuary acts as a Commercial Mail Receiving Agency (CMRA), U.S. Postal Service regulations require that, before we may receive or handle mail on your behalf, you complete and submit USPS Form 1583 ("Application for Delivery of Mail Through Agent"). This requires:

• Two forms of valid identification, at least one bearing a photograph;
• The form to be signed before a notary public (Remote Online Notarization is accepted where permitted by state law); and
• Accurate, current information about you and, for entities, the business.

We cannot release or forward any mail until a completed Form 1583 and identity verification are on file. Payment starts your subscription but does not by itself authorize mail handling until this step is complete.

3. Identity verification and accurate information

You agree to provide true, complete, and current information and to keep it updated. We may verify your identity and refuse or suspend Services if information is missing, false, or cannot be verified. Providing false information is grounds for immediate termination.

4. Acceptable use — prohibited activities

You agree to use the address only for lawful purposes and to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. You may not use the Services to:

• conduct, promote, or facilitate any illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading activity;
• misrepresent the address as a physical premises, storefront, or place of occupancy where the law requires otherwise;
• register the address where prohibited by applicable state law (some states restrict using a CMRA/virtual address as a principal or registered office);
• receive hazardous, perishable, illegal, or regulated goods (including controlled substances, firearms, or currency);
• facilitate money laundering, sanctions evasion, or terrorist financing.

We may refuse, hold, or return any item, and suspend or terminate the Services, if we reasonably believe this Section has been violated.

5. Mail and package handling

• We receive standard mail and, where the plan includes it, packages from all carriers, and notify you on arrival.
• Mail forwarding, where included, is provided at your request; postage and handling for forwarded items are billed to you in addition to the plan fee.
• Reasonable volume limits apply; unusually high volume may incur additional fees, agreed in advance.
• Items are held for up to 30 days. Unclaimed items after that period may be returned to sender or, where return is not possible, disposed of. We are not responsible for the contents of unclaimed items.

6. Registered Agent service (Premium plan)

Where you select the Premium plan, Trinity Sanctuary acts as your Connecticut registered agent and will accept service of process and official state correspondence during normal business hours and forward it to you promptly. You are responsible for keeping your forwarding contact details current so that time-sensitive documents reach you. The registered agent address is for official government and legal mail only and is separate from general business mail. Registered agent service is subject to a short verification step before it becomes active.

7. Fees, automatic recurring billing, and refunds

Plans are billed as an automatic monthly subscription. When you subscribe, your card is charged the plan amount immediately and then automatically on the same day each month until you cancel. Payment is processed through our payment processor (Stripe); no card details are stored by Trinity Sanctuary. You authorize these recurring charges by subscribing, and you may cancel at any time — cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of the current paid month. Forwarding postage and any additional services are billed separately. Because the address is reserved and made available to you immediately, fees for a charged month are non-refundable except where required by law.

8. Term and termination

The Services are month-to-month and you may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future billing and takes effect at the end of the current paid month. We may suspend or terminate the Services for breach of these Terms, non-compliance with Form 1583/verification, non-payment, or unlawful use. On termination, you must promptly stop using the address and update any government, banking, or business records that reference it.

9. Limitation of liability

The Services are provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trinity Sanctuary is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost, delayed, or misdelivered mail beyond, in the aggregate, the fees you paid for the Services in the three months preceding the claim. You are responsible for maintaining your own copies of important documents.

10. Governing law and changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
